Be Thankful not only when
Our houses are organised
Our children are successful
Our husbands or wives dote on us
Our Bosses give us a big fat raise

Our waistlines have slimmed
Our wrinkles are erased
Our stomachs are full
But
Being thankful is even when
Our houses are disorganised, at least we have a house
Our children are not successful, they are a gift from God
Our husbands and wives forgot to dote on us, at least we have them to hold and cherish
Our bosses did not give us a raise, at least we have a job
Our waistlines have doubled, the food that God has provided
Our wrinkles are there, the many years God has given us
