Today I heard the preacher preach
Into your pockets a tenth you must reach
If the Lord you do not want rob
Surely no one will call the cop
Today I hear the preacher preach
The church is there in your reach
A tenth if you don't give
Then the Lord's heart you will surely grieve.
Then the Preacher prayed
The people neither a word they say
They know they need to heed the call
They know they will stand tall
